Our pre-school is run by a parent-led committee comprising chairperson, treasurer, secretary and general committee members. As such parental and carer involvement is an integral part of the Pre-School.

To help you feel welcome we have a parents’ notice-board, which you are encouraged to check regularly.  It displays news of social events, fund-raising activities, policies and information to keep you up to date with Pre-School life.  We also produce regular newsletters for all parents and encourage your feedback and comments. These can be emailed if you wish – please ensure that Liz Heppenstall (Administration) has your correct email address

Various fund-raising events are undertaken throughout the year, enabling us to buy equipment with the money raised and everyone is encouraged to take part.  We are a non-profit making organisation and a registered charity.

We do not operate a  help rota but instead request donations of food for the children’s snack time – ideas for healthy snacks that your child enjoys are always welcome.  We also ask for help with outings and educational visits.
